Professor Lane and his group are currently focused on understanding:

The regulation of OX40-ligand on LTi, as switching off expression (as in the embryo) would be a very effective way to suppress CD4-mediated diseases
How human LTi might be modified in disease to cause secondary CD4 immunodeficiency.
