Organisation profile

CERJ is a multi-disciplinary research centre of excellence that combines modern science and law to make the environment safe from toxic chemicals.

SCIENCE comprises comparative biology (combing human and environmental health protection), environmental chemistry, ecology, genomics, metabolomics, evolutionary theory, high-performance computing, artificial & human intelligence and precision toxicology to help modernise hazard and risk assessment (called New Approach Methodologies, or NAMs)

LAW captures our society's values and is used as a mediating institution capable of engaging people competing in the private sector with the significant institutions of public life.  Law includes regulatory knowledge that can operationalize the scientific findings in decision-making.
