Abstract

Harmonic analysis is an important part of power quality study. Present situation about monitoring, analyzing, decision-making and controlling of power quality, especially of harmonics, is discussed. Decoupling-compensation theory based 3-phase distribution harmonic power flow method is then introduced. Centered by this method, a power quality simulation and decision-making system is developed. Power quality problems, especially harmonic problems, can be analyzed by using this platform. It can also support the spot engineers' decision and controlling. This platform lays a foundation for 3-phase harmonic power flow from theoretics to utility and is proved practical by the result of analyzing real power network power quality harmonic problems.
