El presente trabajo abarca una extensa investigación cuantitativa acerca delcumplimiento de sentencias internacionales en materia de derechos humanos,por parte de los Estados del Continente Americano. La investigación analizael nivel de efectividad del Sistema Interamericano de Protección de losDerechos Humanos, observando que los datos que la Corte Interamericanapublica cada año en sus Informes pueden no ser el único modo de entenderel grado de efectividad del sistema.
