Abstract

The authors describe the results of a study in which they have assessed the relative importance of meteoric and non-meteoric modes on two high latitude paths. They have effected this by examining the duty cycles of the meteoric and non-meteoric modes at a frequency of 45 MHz. The study is necessary for the formulation of meteor scatter communications protocols.<>
