Abstract

A quantitative classifier of cell behavior has been produced based on cell morphology on different surfaces. The seven parameters used in the study showed clear differences between cell types, culture periods and culture surfaces. Using a discriminant analysis, morphological parameters allowed up to 94% overall accuracy in allocating different cells on different groups to their correct groups.
