Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingChapter

Abstract

Infrastructures supporting offshore and energy sectors experience adverse climate conditions and often require timely actions to retrofit, repair and/or reconstruct. Digital twins are the precursor to efficiently managing their assets and components required to improve the infrastructure resilience. In this presentation, pertinent collaborative research at the University of Birmingham will be discussed. The presentation to demonstrate recent advances in digital twins for intelligent asset management enhancing sustainability and resilience will be highlighted, particularly for offshore and energy industry.
