Abstract

In this paper, we present image reconstruction of moving targets with a forward-scanning automotive SAR. We adapt a matrix decomposition approach in order to separate the moving targets from clutter/stationary objects. We present an augmented Lagrangian method based iterative solution. We propose image focusing through spatial segmentation and cross-correlation maximisation. Our proposed method also results in enhanced angular resolution. We present experimental results to verify our proposed methodology.
