Abstract
This paper presents experimental methods and results obtained with passive bistatic SAR based on navigation satellites (e.g. GPS, GLONASS or Galileo) as transmitters of opportunity. Different imaging modes are considered. These include a stationary receiver, as well as a receiver onboard a ground moving vehicle and a real aircraft. The experimental setup in each case is described, and the corresponding imagery obtained is presented and discussed. The obtained results clearly demonstrate the feasibility of the proposed technology on the practical level.
