Abstract
An asymmetric transmission device based on one-way excitation of higher diffraction orders is presented. By combining a subwavelength stacked hole array and a dielectric grating, unidirectionality is achieved with tunability and sign-switching of the deflection angle via frequency and angle of incidence variation. A brief theoretical discussion based on dispersion diagrams is given together with numerical and experimental results of the presented device.
