Considering how robots can be made culturally responsive in order to enhance user experineces in using those robots.

Biography

A lifelong interest in robotics and related technologies has led me on a meandering path working on areas such as localisation of autonomous vehicles, self-driving cars, motion tracking to name but a few. I am now fortunate to be looking at how human robot interactions might be facilitated by making the robot culturally aware. In a world where we are becoming increasingy dependent upon embedded systems and robots, making those systems easier to use is a facinating challenge.
