Research interests

Olga is a research fellow in the 3D Tissue Mimics group at the School of Dentistry. Her current work focuses on creating a 3D organotypic model of oral mucosa, aiming to reduce the reliance on animal testing in drug development. Olga's broader scientific interests involve multidisciplinary research. Following her PhD as part of the Ultrasurge project, she explored the use of therapeutic ultrasound to promote bone cell growth on titanium implant surfaces.
