Biography
Mayya Konovalova is a Lecturer in Accounting at Birmingham Business School, University of Birmingham. She joined the School in November 2019. Her research focuses on accounting, regulation, and transparency, examining how regulatory standards and compliance frameworks shape organisational practices and professional judgement, particularly in relation to financial crime and sustainability.
