Improving BaP therapy by rational drug screening and elucidation of the role of AKR1C3 (Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research specialist programme with Dr Chris Bunce, Biosciences)
Redeploying old drugs to treat blood cancers; translating into novel phase two trials in acute myeloid leukaemia and endemic Burkitt’s lymphoma
Phase 3 national UK MRC trials in myeloma with provision of central laboratory analysis
Development and validation of immunodiagnostic tests (eg, serum-free immunoglobulin light chain measurement)
Study of antibody responses and investigation of antibody deficiency
Study of the effect of stress on immunity (in collaboration with Behavioural Medicine, Sport and Exercise Sciences)
