My current research interests revolve around developing intelligent algorithms for optimization problems, simulation, distributed systems and consensus algorithms. Specifically, my PhD thesis is focused on developing a Digital Twin combining simulation and learning approaches for dynamic data-driven management of blockchain systems focused on the optimisation of the trilemma trade-off problem between scalability, decentralization and security. In the past, I’ve spent time researching the automation of parameters regarding the online interval scheduling problem with the aim of minimizing the total busy time and thus the energy consumption through a dynamic algorithm based on Reinforcement Learning agents.
