Much of Andrew Fox's work involves developing an understanding of the social-psychological factors important in complex mental health difficulties and trying to work out what to do about them to improve people's well-being. His research interests include: Psychosis; social cognition; social recovery; adolescence; self-construction; negative symptoms; existentialism; third-wave behavioural approaches; compassion in healthcare. Dr Fox supervises research projects as part of the Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and the Doctorate in Forensic Clinical Psychology.
