Research data supporting “The behaviour of charged particles (ions) during new particle formation events in urban Leipzig (Germany)”

Ion and particle size distributions as well as sulphuric acid concentrations were measured in Leipzig, Germany at an Urban Background site for a month in summer 2022. Size distributions were measured by neutral cluster and air ion spectrometer, while sulphuric acid was measured by nitrate chemical ionization atmospheric pressure interface time of flight mass spectrometry. Formation rates and growth rates of new particles were calculated from the size distribution data.
