The Queer Caucus of the AAIS (Michela Baldo, Silvia Antosa, Alessio Ponzio and Giulia Sbaffi) has organised an interdisciplinary and online Giornata di Studio/Study Day on Friday, November 17, 2023 devoted to the critical analysis of trans* issues within the Italian socio-cultural and political context. Our goal was to discuss trans* both as an identity and as a process, take stock of the status of Italian trans* studies, and discuss the possible directions of trans* scholarship in national and transnational Italian contexts.
