Abstract

Wideband channel response errors occur when the frequency variation associated with diffraction and reflection coefficients is neglected in determining radiowave propagation based on ray-optical techniques. The errors associated with the prediction of the frequency correlation function (FCF) for a single box were found to be 0.5%, while for two boxes the worst case error is 2%. Results showing errors for higher number of obstacles in the propagation environment are presented.
