Abstract

The book is a comprehensive account of Bernard Stiegler's work on the philosophy of technology. The book deals primarily with Stiegler's originary technicity thesis and its social, ethical and political implications. In particular, it is concerned with the relationship between the process of capitalization and virtual, information, bio-medical and genetic technologies.
