Abstract
A short report offering an initial analysis of a metal-detected hoard of late Roman silver coins, plate and ingots found near Wem in Shropshire. It is concluded that the find dates to the period between ca. 410-470. Due to the extreme clipped in unique cutting of clipped coins into halves and quarters, it is thought that the hoard lies at the later end of the date range.
