Abstract

Use of thin film layered electrodes allows enhancing the unloaded Q-factor of a resonator due to resonant transmission of microwave power through metal sublayers. Use of superconductor films as the conductor plates needs additional analysis to establish validity of application the multilayer electrode consideration in this case. A method proposed is applied to modeling of parallel plate resonators with maximum Q-factor.
