Abstract

E-H duality is proposed for the analysis of slot-like structures, which enables a possibility to adopt layouts developed for microstrip structures. The utility of this concept is demonstrated in the design of band-pass filters, which are realized on the basis of the coupled slots model. Two design examples are given - based on the interdigital hairpin slot-line resonator and S-shaped slot-line resonator. Design of the filters, and, thus, validity of the proposed approach are verified via rigorous «Momentum» simulation.
