Abstract

The European Solid oxide Fuel Cell (SOFC) Forum is held bi-annually in Lucerne, Switzerland. It gathers the European and worldwide experience in SOFC development, both academic and industrial, for a week's worth of extensive and indepth exchange of experiences, results and future plans. This year's event collected more than 450 participants from over 30 countries to enjoy over 200 oral presentations and posters. The SOFC Forum is regularly accompanied by a parallel meeting on Fuel Cells for a Sustainable World, looking into the more industrial and commercial aspects of fuel cells in general, and an exhibition area. As usual, the conference was impeccably organised by Ulf Bossel and his family.
