Abstract

Written in the aftermath of Harold Pinter's death, the piece provides a response as to how Pinter's theatre through its distinctive style has acted as influence and trigger for scholarship focusing on the urgency and resonance of contemporary British theatre. Through a personal lens, the piece traces the significance and uniqueness of Pinter's work.
