Abstract

Discusses the ways in which the increase in fees in the First-tier Tribunal (Immigration and Asylum Chamber) presents an obstacle to children's access to justice and to enforcement of their human rights. Reviews the background to the fee increases, the scope of the substantive human rights of children in the context of immigration appeals, and how the barrier of fees reduces such rights.
