Abstract

Two 3(rd) order HTS quasi-lumped-element Chlebyshev bandpass filters were fabricated. The first uses very compact resonators consisting of interdigital capacitors and straight inductors, Currents in the capacitor fingers were included in the inductance evaluation. In the second filter, a meander-line inductor achieves further miniaturisation, Experimental results agree well with full wave simulations. Quasi-elliptic and group delay compensated filters using similar resonators are also discussed end simulated responses are presented.
