Abstract

In the presentation we will review the contribution of Prof. Mario Sorolla in the understanding of the fishnet metamaterial from the perspective of the extraordinary transmission and in the application of such engineered material for the design of lenses. The presentation will also cover the last developments in such advanced lenses.
