Abstract

The excavations at Frogmore Hall, Atcham investigated the cropmark of a putative Anglo-Saxon hall. Excavation demonstrated the existence of the site and provided a date of around AD 650 from AMS radiocarbon dating. Roman pottery and features were also recovered, along with evidence for medieval and modern activity.
