Abstract

In this work we present several results of tuning the extraordinary transmission resonance in a doubly periodic hole array by simply increasing the inductance due to the inclusion of meander lines between consecutive holes. The electromagnetic response of this structure is briefly analyzed observing the fields and the currents as well as from an equivalent circuit perspective. An exhaustive analysis of some design parameters of the meander-lines is done in order to obtain a wide design bandwidth for the resonant peak of extraordinary transmission.
