Abstract

With the advent of high performance computers and the rapid growth in computational fluid dynamics (CFD), it is now possible to simulate fluid flow and heat transfer in a wide range of process equipment. Improved CFD codes provide the visualization of local velocity, temperature, pressure fields and concentrations of fluid flows in different equipment by means of computer graphics.
