Abstract

Highlights

A simple nanoindentation post-processing tool is proposed to extract irradiation hardening as a function of dose.

The model separates plasticity size effects, the effect of the underlying unirradiated material and utilises the varying irradiation dose profile.

The model can successfully determines the dose dependent hardness from nanoindentation in heavy-ion irradiated Fe-alloys.
