Abstract

This dictionary contains entries on all aspects of the field of ophthalmology, with terms related to ocular anatomy and physiology, the diseases of the eye and of the visual pathway, and medical and surgical treatment of the same. There is also a full list of the entries by their respective subject to aid navigation and discoverability, dividing them between twenty specialist categories.

This dictionary is an excellent reference source for individuals from many different disciplines, including ophthalmologists (surgeons and physicians), optometrists, ophthalmic nurses, orthoptists, ophthalmic technicians, and visual scientists.
