PhD projects

Sabine Lee's current research is located in two distinct areas. Recently, she has engaged in studies of children born of war; that is, children fathered by foreign soldiers and born to local mothers in conflict and post-conflict situations. She has published several papers on issues such as the human rights of children born of war, specific case studies and historical comparisons of such children throughout the twentieth century. Her second area of research concerns the history of twentieth-century science and, in particular, physics.

Dr Lee is also able to offer doctoral supervision in:

Twentieth-century British history
History of European integration
Twentieth-century international relations
Modern German history, especially nineteenth and twentieth centuries, and National Socialism
Nineteenth- and twentieth-century War Studies
The Cold War in Europe
