Robert Cressy is director of the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Centre (EIC). Based within the Business School, the EIC provides a focus of activity within the University to encourage and promote innovation and entrepreneurship amongst staff and students through training and development.

His research interests include venture capital, private equity, innovation and company valuation.

Professor Cressy is currently supervising three doctoral researchers working on the following topics:

Topics in overreaction and price limits in an emerging market: the case of Egypt
Evaluating the success of the Korean privatisation programme
Bank lending, market imperfections and macroeconomic stability
