Research interests

My research interest lies in developing novel statistical methods, contributing to a deeper understanding of genetic components underlying the complication of complex traits. In brief, my research has focused on (i) dissecting complex trait in model species through linkage analysis, (ii) developing theoretical methodology for modeling and analysing large scale gene expression profiling microarray or RNA sequencing data, and (iii) developing theory and statistical methods for modeling quantitative genetic effects and estimating genetic parameters from population samples.
