Louise Dixon is a forensic psychologist based at the Centre for Forensic and Criminological Psychology. She works in the areas of aggression and violence, with particular emphasis on intimate partner violence, child maltreatment and aggression in gangs/groups. Dr Dixon's research interests include:

Intimate partner violence and homicide (prevention, assessment and intervention)
Links between intimate partner violence and child abuse and neglect
Resilience in children affected by intimate partner violence
Risk assessment and prevention of violence
Male victims of intimate partner violence
Group/gang aggression and prevention/sexual exploitation/risk assessment
