Larissa Fabritz studies novel mechanisms of heart disease and undertakes translational research into mechanism-based therapies. She is a Reader in Cardiovascular Sciences and an Honorary Consultant in the Department of Cardiology, University Hospital Birmingham NHS Trust. Dr Fabritz carries out research on molecular cardiovascular imaging as well as molecular mechanisms of cardiomyopathies and arrhythmias with her research group at UOB and with collaborations in Europe and North America.
