Karl Nightingale's primary research interests focus on epigenetic gene regulation and interaction with cancer. he has a particular interest in histone modification and gene regulation. Karl has a background in the biochemical reconstitution of chromatin, and has studied the functional and structural impact of chromatin associated proteins and modifications.
Dr Nightingale supervises doctoral researchers working on topics pertaining to the areas of epigenetic gene regulation.
