Biography

John Reynolds is a Clinical Senior Lecturer in Rheumatology at the University of Birmingham and an Honorary Consultant Rheumatologist at Sandwell and West Birmingham Hospitals NHS Trust.

John qualified from the University of Birmingham in 2005 and became a Member of the Royal College of Physicians in 2008.  After completing an Academic Foundation Programme in Birmingham in 2007 he moved to Manchester as an NIHR Academic Clinical Fellow and subsequently an NIHR Academic Clinical Lecturer.  Between 2010 and 2014 he completed a North West England MRC Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics Clinical Research Training Fellowship which included 3 months as a visiting scientist at the National Institutes of Health (NIH).  In 2018 he was awarded a Certificate in Human Pharmacology by the RCP Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine.
