PhD projects

Dwaipayan Chakrabarti's research interests span a number of disciplines in physical and applied sciences interfaced with theoretical and computational chemistry. This includes exploring routes to design novel structures via self‑ or directed‑assembly and on a broader perspective, understanding physical principles of self-assembly in a wide spectrum of condensed matter, especially soft matter, systems to exploit them in the context of materials science.

Dr Chakrabarti is interested in supervising doctoral research students in the following areas:

programmable self-assembly of colloidal matter
multiscale modelling and advanced simulation techniques to study colloid-polymer systems.
