Willingness to take PhD students
Adrian Hunt's research interests are in the broad field of public law, human rights, criminal law and justice, and international criminal law. He has a particular research interest in the legal responses to terrorism. He was co-director of a study on the efficacy of the Lawyers at Police Stations (LAPS) initiative carried out under the auspices of the University's Institute of Judicial Administration and has worked as a consultant for the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe and the Council of Europe on legal responses to terrorism.
Dr Hunt is currently working on projects connected with counter-terrorism law and would be happy to supervise doctoral researchers in all aspects of legal responses to terrorism, human rights and public law.
