Frank O’Hara was one of New York’s most beloved poets, famous for his vivid evocations of the city’s cafes and bars, traffic and train-lines, construction workers and artists. He wrote as he lived – in the moment.

Join us for…
•a guest talk by Matthew Holman (UCL)
•a live, interactive, public reading of Meditations in an Emergency (1957)
•a performance of music written by O’Hara’s favourite, Sergei Rachmaninoff

All welcome! Wine and refreshments (and a poem to read!) will be provided.
