Abstract
Two produced performances of my debut play WE LOVE AND THEN WE DROWN which focuses on three key moments in the life of climate scientist Catherine Hardy. Told via intertwining vignettes, it explores themes of motherhood, empirical fact versus innate love, the fundamental resilience of memory and, ultimately, hope. The play was staged at the John Lyon's Theatre in Covent Garden, attracting an audience of 160 across 2 performances. It is now heading to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2026 for a 2-week run.
