Abstract
In this paper, we introduce resources developed by experts to promote reflection and discussion with children and young people on timely philosophical problems. The resources are explainer videos that cover a range of issues and debates of practical significance in applied and social epistemology, aesthetics, and moral and political philosophy. In the first part of the paper, we offer an overview of the content of the videos and the philosophical debates that inspire them. We also make some suggestions about how the videos can be used in the classroom. In the second part of the paper, we discuss the pedagogical assumptions behind the creation and use of the videos and consider some benefits and limitations of using this type of resource with children and young people.
