Abstract

This article is a discussion of the manuscripts containing the anonymous letter written by a Christian in Cyprus to two Muslim scholars in Damascus in the early 14th century. It shows on the basis of an examination of the extant manuscripts that the letter was sent in more than one version, edited for different recipients.
