Abstract

Presents preliminary results obtained from a simulated MB broadcast system implementing scanning diversity of signals received at two separated antennas. The results consider the optimum transmitted block size required for a broadcast MB system with and without the implementation of space diversity and a scanning combiner. The signal throughput enhancement achieved using a simple scanning diversity technique is reported.
