Abstract

This project found that the CARA (Cautioning and Relationship Abuse) Service has a significant impact on recidivism. On average, the CARA Service reduced offences by 81% in the first six months and by 56% in the first 12 months for West Midlands. CARA reduced offences by 39% in the first six months and by 41% in the first 12 months for Hampshire.
