Abstract

A re-formulation of a semideterministic propagation model, capable of wideband channel predictions, is presented. It is site-specific that can only be applied to a restricted number of city geometries. It does not require high-resolution building databases. In line-of-sight scenarios, both the power delay profile and the r.m.s delay spread were found to be in reasonable agreement with experiment, given that the model predicts ensemble averages only. Thus, the model seems promising for wideband predictions, but further development is required before its usefulness can be established.
