Abstract

Presented is a wideband reconfigurable MIMO antenna, which is the combination of a reconfigurable balanced dipole and a two-port chassis antenna. Measurements show that the prototype antenna can tune the operating frequency from 646 to 848 MHz and 1648 to 2074 MHz with instantaneous bandwidths of 14-93 MHz. The proposed MIMO antenna provides low correlation and high efficiency within these operating bands.
